Card Design: From the Heart Stamps August Challenge

http://fromtheheartstamps.com/community/blog/
Hello!  Today I am popping in to post my August card for the From the Heart Stamps (FTHS) progressive stamp of the month challenge. I'd hate to lose out on the wonderful opportunity to earn incredible stamp sets from such an amazing designer by not getting my project completed in time!

In order to enter the FTHS progressive challenge, you must either have received the latest image by having participated in the previous month or you can buy the stamp for the current month's challenge.  Everyone who enters and follows the rules is a winner because you automatically get the stamp for the next month's challenge.  Stop by the site and check out the rules for yourself.  While you are there, have a look around.  They have some really awesome images.

Just like with Deedee this month, this month's FTHS set allowed me to get in another unexpected Christmas card!  Woo, hoo!!!

Here is my project and the details.  I hope I haven't forgotten anything important...

Punch:
  • The edging was created with a Recollection's punch.

Card Design: Furry Hugs with Nicecrane Designs

http://nicecranedesigns.com/

Hello on this lovely Thursday afternoon.   It is time to share my latest Nicecrane Designs creation with you all.  This one uses an adorable vintage kitten image from the So Cute Cats collection.  Oh my goodness, I just love the images in this set.  Today I'm showcasing one of the images and I already have plans for a card with another of them!

Here are my card and the details...

FRONT

Digital Image Details:
  • So Cute Cats:  This great set features several cute cats.  For this card I used the image you see in the top left hand corner of the preview below.  Click on the name or the watermark below to take you to its location in the store.

http://nicecranedesigns.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66&products_id=1334
Embellishments:
  • The ribbon is from a stash that I got from my momma.
  • The embossed diecut shape used in behind the image is from a stash that my friend sent me.  She had a bunch of cutouts all ready and since I don't have many diecut shapes or embossing folders, she sent me a nice selection--some with embossing and some without.  I've been hoarding them for quite a while but finally decided to dig into the pile.

INSIDE

Digital Sentiment Details:
  • This sentiment was created by Paulette from Create with TLC.  I picked it up as a freebie a while back.  For more great freebies, click HERE to go to Paulette's blog and to purchase other sets, click HERE to go to the store.
